The words homelife, homemade, homeschool, homegirl is written in brush lettering across a pink, yellow, and aqua paint splattered background.

Welcome, I’m Jill! Our quirky multigenerational family lives in the picturesque Pacific Northwest. And while others may get cabin fever, I’ve always been quite content chillin’ at home making crafts, memories, and coffee. My partner here is my younger daughter, Emilia, an early reader, late-night gamer, and expert on all things Genshin Impact.

YOU’LL FEEL AT HOME HERE IF YOU ARE:

…an introvert who appreciates your equally socially awkward online friends.

…continuing to protect your family, friends, and community amid the ongoing pandemic.

…a bit eclectic and a little messy, like our house.

…delighted with coffee, tea, and the company of your children and don’t relate to the Toxic Mom Wine Culture.

…for equality and love for all.

…far from the stereotypical homeschool family, but definitely weird.

…embracing the fact you didn’t choose the homelife, the homelife chose you.

THERE’S SO MUCH TO LEARN FROM HOME.

Whether you’re a homebody, homemaker, homeschooler, homegirl, or simply enjoy dropping in for a visit, I believe inviting you into our space here and sharing everyday homelife experiences together can contribute to building an inclusive community that will reach beyond our front doors.

This blog’s purpose is a work-in-progress. It’s a crochet scarf that waits mid-stitch. It’s the curriculum that sparks your curiosity to explore beyond the page. It’s a chance encounter that makes you more empathetic. It’s thinking outside four walls to find your way home. It’s what goes around, comes around, so make it beautiful.
